- How do I send an invoice without email?
- Open the invoice, tap Mark as sent, then copy the share link. Your client opens it in the browser — no SpanBill account needed.
- Can one invoice cover multiple jobsites?
- Yes. Add line items from different active projects for the same client (GC). SpanBill totals tax and subtotal on one invoice.
- What is a magic link?
- A secure, time-limited URL for clients to view an invoice or estimate. Links expire after the validity period shown on the document.
- How do province tax presets work?
- In Settings you pick your province preset (HST/GST). You can still adjust the label and rate before sending.
- How do estimates become invoices?
- Send the estimate to get a share link. When the client accepts (or you convert manually), SpanBill can create a draft invoice from the estimate lines.
- Can I import my price list?
- Use Import CSV from the home screen to upload contractors and work types. Review rows before confirming.
- Where is PDF download?
- Use Print / Save as PDF in the browser from the invoice or estimate document view. Hosted PDF storage arrives with a future update.
- How does referral work?
- Share your six-letter code from the dashboard. Friends enter it at signup. Rewards are tracked in-app; payout details will be announced later.
